for lack of voice, for lack of listening
for lack of social skills
for lack of friendliness

lonely for lack of companions
for lack of a chance to speak
for lack of time to practice smiling
for lack of someone at my side

and so it goes
the lists go on and on
no definition comes to mind
and so i am left with
lonely and alone
